TCP Profiles Manager

Let's suppose that you own a notebook computer which you take with you at work. That means that you must connect to two different networks, the one at work and another one at home. Each network has its own IP and MAC address settings. The problem is that you need to enter the IP address manually, together with all other connection details, if you want to connect to the work network, while at home you can automatically connect to the Internet without needing to manually enter your IP address. Changing the network settings again and again can be frustrating at some point and can even cause the system to malfunction and produce errors.

TCP Profiles Manager is a program which can help you in this case. It's a simple Windows application which uses profiles to switch from a group of network settings to another. This can be done using a single click. Besides that, also using a single click, the program can be easily installed into the system.

After installing and running the program, the user can easily add 17 different profiles to the program. Each profile has its own IP address, MAC, subnet mask, gateway and so on. For making it easier to find a desired profile, each one of them can have its own icon associated with it. After creating the desired profiles, any of them can be easily activated with a single click or by using a shortcut key. Keys can also be used for creating or deleting profiles, but unfortunately, TCP Profiles Manager doesn't allow customizing these keys.

The program is compatible with any Windows version and virtually any network card, even wireless ones. When selecting a profile, all its details are displayed in the lower part of the interface, allowing the user to quickly view the network settings of a certain profile without having to launch its edit window, thus saving time.
